Solid Brass Blank Plates for a Clean, Finished Look

Our blank wall plates (also called blank cover plates) are made from solid brass and designed to cover unused openings on standard North American wall boxes. They’re ideal after remodels, layout changes, or anywhere you want to hide an unused box with a plate that looks intentional and premium.

Available Sizes

  • 1-Gang blank wall plates — covers a single unused wall box opening.
  • 2-Gang blank wall plates — covers wider two-gang openings.

Common Uses

  • Covering an unused outlet box or switch box after a renovation
  • Creating a clean finish over low-voltage openings (when a blank plate is appropriate)
  • Matching brass plates across rooms for a consistent design

Why Solid Brass

Solid brass delivers a heavier feel and long-term durability compared with thin or plated alternatives. It also makes it easy to coordinate finishes across your wall plates, outlets, switches, and cabinet hardware.

Fit & Installation Tips

  • Select the correct gang count (1-gang or 2-gang) to match your wall box.
  • Install using the included screws; do not overtighten to avoid marking the finish.
  • If you need plates with openings (duplex, GFCI/Decora, toggle, or dimmer), choose the matching plate type instead.

Coordinate Your Brass Hardware

Match your blank plates with the rest of your setup:

If you’re unsure whether you need a blank cover plate or a plate with device cutouts, share a photo of your wall box and we’ll confirm the correct option.
