What sizes are the two backplate designs?

The scalloped plate is 2.95″ × 0.98″ (75 × 25 mm), with 0.20″ (5 mm) thickness. The round rope-edge plate is 1.57″ (40 mm) in diameter and 0.16″ (4 mm) thick.

Do these backplates have a CTC measurement?

No. Each plate has one center hole, so there is no two-hole CTC spacing. The listed dimensions describe the full plate length, width or diameter.

Can a backplate cover marks from an old knob?

It may cover marks within its outline. Compare the visible marks with the 75 × 25 mm scalloped shape or 40 mm round plate before choosing. Coverage depends on the size and location of the marks.

Will I need a longer mounting screw?
